Business Agent and the Oroe connector

Give your business an AI agent that other assistants, such as Claude and ChatGPT, can find and talk to, and control exactly what it may do.

What the Business Agent is

More and more people ask an AI assistant to get things done for them: “find a salon near me that can fit me in on Friday”, “ask that studio for a quote”. Those assistants need a reliable way to talk to your business. The Business Agent is that way in.

It is your business’s own agent, with its own address. Other AI assistants can ask it about your services, check your free times, request a booking, ask for a quote or ask for a call back. It answers from your real data in Cue and your knowledge sources, and it only does what you switch on.

Each business has one Business Agent. It sits in its own Business group in Tron’s sidebar.

Set it up

  1. In Tron, open Business Agent and choose Create.
  2. Pick a handle. This is your agent’s address, for example maison-rue. Use lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens.
  3. Give it a display name and a short description of your business. Assistants read these to decide whether you are the right fit.
  4. Choose your Cue business, so the agent can see your services and free times.
  5. Go through the switches in Settings (below), then press Go live on the overview page.

While the agent is a draft, nobody outside can reach it. You can still try it yourself on the Playground page.

Once the agent is live you can’t change its handle, because other assistants may already know it. Pause the agent first if you really need to.

What it may do

Every ability has its own switch in Settings:

Switch What it allows
Answer questions Free-text questions, answered from your profile, services and knowledge.
Share services Your service list with durations and prices.
Check availability Free times for a service.
Book appointments Booking requests at a free time.
Modify bookings Moving or cancelling an existing booking. Off by default.
Take quote requests Quote requests, passed to your Finance Agent if you have one.
Take callback requests “Please call me back” requests, which land in Approvals.

Bookings are requests

By default, every booking made through the agent arrives in Cue as pending. You confirm it, exactly like a booking from your public booking page. An assistant tells us a customer’s name and phone number, but nothing proves it is really them, so you stay in charge.

You can let registered callers (see below) confirm directly. Anonymous callers always book as pending.

To move or cancel a booking, the caller must give the phone number on that booking. The agent only changes a booking that matches it.

Who can call it

Your agent knows three kinds of caller:

  • Anyone: any assistant, with no sign-in. This is how most consumer assistants arrive.
  • Verified bots: assistants that prove who they are. Tron checks signed requests (the Web Bot Auth standard) and the published address ranges of OpenAI, Anthropic and Google.
  • Registered callers: partners you give an API key on the Callers page. You can limit each key to certain abilities and revoke it at any time.

In Settings → Callers you choose who may call: anyone, only verified bots and registered callers, or only registered callers. Each kind has its own limit on requests per minute.

How assistants find you

Your website

If your site is built with Cue Pages, Tron and Cue do this for you once the agent is live:

  • Every page carries structured business details (search engines and assistants read these), including a booking action.
  • Your site publishes your agent’s card at /.well-known/agent-card.json and a plain summary at /llms.txt.
  • Pages link to your agent so browsing assistants can see it exists.

Nothing here invents facts. Hours and addresses only appear if you have entered them in Cue.

The Oroe connector

People who use Claude or ChatGPT can add one connector, called Oroe, and reach every Oroe business that has a live agent. Their assistant searches by name, service or city, then talks to the business it picks.

Your business appears in that search when your agent is live and List in the Oroe directory is on (it is on by default). Turning it off hides you from search only. Assistants that already know your handle can still reach you.

The overview page shows whether you are listed, and if not, why. It also shows how often you appeared in searches.

Your agent’s own address

Your agent also has its own connector address, shown on the overview page with copy buttons. Give it to a partner, or add it in an assistant yourself to test:

  • Claude: Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, then paste the MCP address.
  • ChatGPT: add a connector or app using the MCP address (the menu name depends on your plan).
  • Other agents: the A2A card and the REST/OpenAPI address are listed too.

See what happened

The Interactions page lists every request your agent received: when, how the caller connected, what it asked for, who called (anonymous, the verified vendor, or the registered caller’s name), and whether it worked. Requests that were refused are listed too, with the reason.

Quote and callback requests appear on the overview page as open tasks, and in Approvals when a person needs to act.

Telling people it’s an AI

When your agent talks to a person, it says it is an AI assistant acting for your business. Leave AI disclosure on Always unless you are sure of the rules where your customers live.

Good to know

  • A paused agent answers nobody. Pausing is your off switch.
  • Your agent never sees your owner account, your other customers’ details or your internal notes.
  • Callback requests that should become phone calls need the Telecaller to be set up with a phone line.
