Invite your team and choose what they can use
How workspace owners invite people by email, how module access works, and how to accept an invitation you've received.
How team access works
You invite people into your workspace by email. Each invitation is for one module and comes with a role in that module. That’s how you choose exactly which modules each person can use: someone you invite to Nest CRM can use Nest CRM, and nothing else, until you invite them to another module too.
On their dashboard, modules you haven’t given them show No Access, with a note to ask the workspace owner.
Note Only the workspace owner can send invitations.
Invite someone
You send invitations from inside the module you want to give them. Team invitations are available in Nest CRM, Cue, Relay and PinWatch.
- Open the module from your dashboard or the module switcher.
- Go to its team area. For example, this is Team in Nest CRM, Team & Permissions in Cue, and Settings then Teams & Permissions in Relay.
- Select the invite button, such as Invite Member.
- Enter the person’s email address and choose their role.
- Send the invitation.
Oroe emails them a link to join. To give the same person another module, repeat these steps in that module.
For more on roles in each module, see the module’s own guide, for example Nest CRM or Cue.
Pending invitations
Invitations stay pending until they’re accepted, and they expire after seven days. From the module’s team area you can see pending invitations, and in modules that offer it you can resend or revoke one. Resending gives the person a fresh link.
Accept an invitation
When someone invites you, you’ll get an email with a link. Open it and you’ll see an invitation page with the Workspace, the Module, your Role and who Invited by.
What you do next depends on whether you already have an Oroe account.
If you’re new to Oroe
- Select Create Account & Join.
- Fill in the sign-up form. Your email is already filled in and can’t be changed, because the invitation belongs to that address. You don’t need a reference code.
- Select Create Account.
- Sign in. You’ll find the workspace you were invited to on your dashboard.
If you already have an account
- Select Login to Accept and sign in with the email address the invitation was sent to.
- Back on the invitation page, select Accept Invitation.
If you’re already signed in when you open the link, you’ll see Accept Invitation straight away.
Good to know An invitation only works for the email address it was sent to. If you sign in with a different address, Oroe tells you the invitation was issued to a different email. Sign out and sign in with the right one.
What changes after you join
Your dashboard now shows the workspace you joined, and the modules you were given there. Your plan also sets how many workspaces you can join. If you’ve reached that limit, you’ll see a message saying so when you accept.
Note When your account belongs to someone else’s team, the portal shows you the workspaces you’ve been invited to. If you also need a workspace of your own, contact support@oroe.ai.
