Pages, menus and media

Manage the pages of your website, set your logo, menu, colours and fonts once for every page, and keep your images in the media library.

Websites and pages

In Cue, a website is a set of pages that share one address, one header and footer, one menu and one theme. Each page belongs to a website, or stands on its own as a Standalone page (useful for a one-off campaign or event).

If you built your site with Build with Pulse, your website already exists. If not, open Cue Pages, go to Website > General, enter a name and select Create Website.

Tip The Website setup checklist at the top of All pages shows what’s left to do: create your website, add pages, publish, set your logo and menu, and connect your domain.

Manage your pages

All pages at https://cue.oroe.ai/cue-pages shows every page as a card with a live thumbnail. Use the search box and the All, Published and Draft filters to find one quickly.

Each card shows:

  • Live or Draft, and Unpublished changes if the draft has edits that aren’t online yet.
  • The page’s address, its website, its version number and when it was last changed.
  • Edit (opens Studio) and Pulse (opens Edit with Pulse).

Open the card’s menu for more:

  • View live page opens the published page.
  • Publish or Unpublish changes whether the page is online.
  • Duplicate makes a copy you can edit.
  • Delete removes the page permanently.
  • Website moves the page to a different website, or makes it a Standalone page.

To change a page’s address, open it in Studio, select Global > SEO and edit Page URL (slug). Cue checks that the address is free as you type. Changing it breaks existing links to the old address.

Your website’s identity

Go to Website > General.

  • Website name is the name shown on your website.
  • Website address is the part after /s/ in your web address, for example /s/lunahair. Use lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens. Changing it breaks existing links. Once your own domain is connected, this address is fixed.
  • Logo appears in the header and footer. An image with a transparent background works best.
  • Favicon is the small icon in the browser tab. Use a square image, 32×32px or larger.

When you change anything, a bar appears at the bottom of the screen. Select Save Changes to apply it. Your website updates within a few seconds.

Your menu

Go to Website > Navigation.

  1. Under Home page, choose which page visitors see first. Automatic (first page) uses the first page of the website.
  2. Select Add menu item for each link you want in the header.
  3. For each item, type a Label, then choose Page to link to one of your pages, or URL to link anywhere on the web.
  4. To make a dropdown, use the add sub-item button on a top-level item and add the links that should appear under it.
  5. Use the up and down arrows to reorder items, and the remove button to delete one.
  6. Select Save Changes.

Note Menus go one level deep: a top-level item can have a dropdown of sub-items, but sub-items can’t have their own dropdowns.

Colours and fonts

Go to Website > Design. Settings here apply to every page of your website.

  • Colours: set Primary (buttons, links, highlights), Secondary (supporting accents, hover states), Accent (badges, small emphasis), Background, Text and Muted text. Use the colour picker or type a hex code.
  • Fonts: choose a Body font and a Heading font (or Same as body) from a curated list of web fonts, including serif options such as Playfair Display, Lora and Fraunces.

A preview shows your website name, body text and colour swatches as you change them.

Good to know A page that has its own colours or fonts set in Studio keeps them. The website theme fills in everything a page doesn’t set itself.

The media library

Select Media under Pages in the sidebar (or go to https://cue.oroe.ai/cue-pages?tab=media) to see every image you’ve uploaded.

  1. Select Upload Image and choose a file, or drag it in.
  2. Find images with the search box (by file name, title or alt text) or the folder filter. Logos and other branding you upload in website settings are kept in their own folder.
  3. Hover over an image to copy its web address, edit its alt text and title, or delete it.

Anywhere Cue asks for an image, such as your logo, a hero picture or a share image, you can upload a new file or pick one you already have from the library.

Tip Add alt text to every image. It describes the picture for people using screen readers and helps search engines understand your page.

Images can be JPEG, PNG, WebP or GIF, up to 10MB each. Large images are resized to a maximum of 2048 pixels on the longest side and compressed automatically, so your pages stay quick to load.
