Get started with Pulse

Open Pulse, find your way around, check your AI model and ask your first question.

This guide takes you from your first visit to your first answer. It takes a few minutes.

Open Pulse

  1. Go to pulse.oroe.ai.
  2. If you’re not signed in, Pulse sends you to the Oroe sign-in page. Sign in with your Oroe account and you come straight back to chat.

You can also reach Pulse from the module switcher on the left edge of any Oroe module.

Note Pulse is part of certain Oroe plans. If your plan doesn’t include it, you’ll see Pulse AI is not available on your plan, with a link to upgrade.

Find your way around

The Pulse sidebar has four places:

Sidebar item What you do there
Chat Ask questions, and answer from your documents with citations.
Documents Upload files and sort them into folders.
Editor Write documents with the assistant’s help.
Settings AI models, usage, and where Pulse adds analysis to other modules.

At the bottom of the sidebar you’ll find the Light mode/Dark mode switch, Collapse sidebar and Sign out.

Step 1: Check which model Pulse uses

Pulse works straight away with Oroe AI, so there’s usually nothing to set up.

  1. Open Settings → AI connections.
  2. Look at What Pulse uses. The Chat line shows the model chat runs on.
  3. If it says Not set up yet, select Change and pick a model, or connect your own provider.

Want a specific model like GPT, Claude or Gemini? See Choose and connect AI models.

Step 2: Ask your first question

  1. Select Chat in the sidebar, or New Chat to start fresh.
  2. Type your question in Ask Pulse anything…
  3. Press Enter to send. Use Shift+Enter for a new line.

Step 3: Ask about your own documents

  1. Open Documents and select Upload files. Pulse accepts PDF, Word (.docx), text, Markdown and CSV files.
  2. Wait until the file’s status changes from Processing to Ready to ask.
  3. Go back to Chat and switch on Documents in the header.
  4. Tick the folder or file you want to ask about, then ask your question.

Pulse answers from what you ticked and shows its sources. See Documents and folders and Cited answers.

Step 4: Decide where Pulse adds analysis

Other Oroe modules can ask Pulse for extra analysis, such as Cue’s AI website generation. You choose whether that happens for you.

  1. Open Settings → Module intelligence.
  2. Each module has its own card: Cue — Appointments, Nest — CRM, PinWatch — Monitoring, Tron — AI Calling and Relay — Unified Inbox. Use the switch on a card to turn Pulse’s analysis for that module on or off.
  3. With a module switched on, you’ll see switches for its individual features, such as AI website generation & editing or Deal analysis.

Changes save straight away. Everything is on until you switch it off, and these settings apply to your own account.

Good to know Routine notifications, like a new appointment, a new contact or a monitor going down, come from the modules themselves. They never use AI and are always on. These switches only cover the extra analysis.
