Set up and manage your workspaces
How to create, switch, rename and archive workspaces, and how your plan decides how many you can have.
What a workspace is
A workspace holds everything for one business or brand: its website and bookings, customers, conversations, documents and team. Everything you see in a module belongs to the workspace you’re working in.
If you run more than one business, give each one its own workspace. That keeps their customers, data and team separate, and it means the AI working in each workspace only works from that business’s information.
You get your first workspace automatically when you create your account.
See your workspaces
Go to https://my.oroe.ai/workspaces, or select your workspace name in the header and then Manage Workspaces.
The Workspaces page shows:
- A banner with your plan and how many workspaces it lets you create, for example “2/3”.
- A card for each active workspace. The one you’re in is marked Current.
- Any archived workspaces, in their own Archived workspaces section.
Switch workspace
You can switch in three places:
- In the portal header: select the workspace name at the top of the page, then pick another workspace from the list.
- On the Workspaces page: select Switch to this on the workspace’s card.
- In any module: open the module switcher and select your workspace at the bottom of the panel.
The page reloads so that everything you see belongs to the workspace you picked. When you then open a module from the portal, it opens in that workspace.
Create a workspace
- On the Workspaces page, select Create Workspace.
- In Workspace Name, enter a name, such as your business or brand name.
- Select Create Workspace.
You can also create a workspace from your profile page with Create New Workspace.
If you’ve already used all the workspaces your plan allows, you’ll see Workspace Limit Reached instead. Select Upgrade Plan to see which plans include more. See Plans, usage and billing.
Rename a workspace and set its timezone
Only the workspace owner can change these settings.
- On the Workspaces page, select Settings on the workspace’s card.
- In the General section, change the Workspace Name.
- Check the Timezone. Oroe sets it automatically from your location the first time you open this page, and it applies across every Oroe module.
- Select Save Changes.
Tip If you ever need to contact support about a workspace, quote the Workspace ID shown in the General section.
Archive a workspace
Archiving takes a workspace out of use without losing anything. It’s hidden from the modules and from your workspace menu, but its members, settings and all module data are kept exactly as they are.
- Open the workspace’s Settings.
- In the Archive workspace section, select Archive Workspace.
- Confirm.
You can’t archive your last active workspace.
Restore an archived workspace
- Go to the Workspaces page.
- In Archived workspaces, find the workspace and select Restore.
It’s back in your workspace menu and in the modules straight away.
Deleting a workspace
There’s no permanent delete. Deleting a workspace would remove data across every module, so archiving is the supported way to retire one. If you need data actually erased, for example for a GDPR request, email support@oroe.ai.
Workspace usage and limits
Your plan sets limits, such as how many workspaces you can own and how many contacts, monitors or AI agents you can have. To see how much you’ve used:
- Open the module switcher in any module. Plan Usage shows the limits for that module and your workspace count.
- Open your profile. Plan Limits lists every limit on your plan with what you’ve used so far.
See Plans, usage and billing for more.
