Services, staff and booking
Set up your locations, team and services, share your online booking page, and keep track of every appointment, with contacts flowing into Nest.
How booking works in Cue
Online booking in Cue is built from four things:
- Locations: where you offer services.
- Staff: the people who take appointments, and the locations they work at.
- Working hours: when each team member is available.
- Services: what customers can book, how long it takes, what it costs and who provides it.
Cue uses these to work out which times are genuinely free, and shows only those to your customers. When a time is booked, it disappears for everyone else.
Everything lives under Appointment Scheduling at https://cue.oroe.ai/appointment-scheduling. You’ll see five tabs: Quick View, Appointments, Business Details, Analytics and Settings.
Note Your locations, team, working hours and first services are set up when you create your business. See Get started with Cue.
Add a location
- Open Quick View and select + Add Location.
- Fill in the Location Name (for example “Main Office” or “Downtown Branch”), Address, City, State, Postal Code, Phone and Email, plus Country and Timezone.
- Select Add Location.
Add a team member
- Open Quick View and select + Add Staff.
- Fill in Name, Email, Phone, Position/Title, Specialization and a short Bio. Customers see the name and title when they choose who to book with.
- Under Assign to Locations, tick every location this person works at.
- Select Add Staff Member.
Add a service
- Open Quick View and select + Add Service.
- Enter a Service Name (for example “Haircut” or “Consultation”) and an optional Description.
- Check the Currency.
- Under Assign to Staff Member, choose who provides it.
- Under Service Durations & Pricing, set the Duration (min) and Base Price. You can offer more than one duration, each with its own price, such as 30 minutes and 1 hour.
- Select Add Service.
Tip New services also appear automatically in the Services block on your website, and Pulse uses them next time it builds or rebuilds your site.
Your booking page
Your public booking page lives at https://cue.oroe.ai/book/ followed by your business number. Websites built with Cue include Book buttons that link straight to it, and your business profile page lists every service with its own booking link.
Here’s what your customer sees:
- Choose a Service: every active service, with its duration and price.
- Choose Staff: if more than one person offers the service, the customer can pick someone or leave it open. If they leave it open, Cue books whoever is free.
- Select Date & Time: only times that are actually available are shown.
- Your Details: name, email, phone, and an optional note for any special requests.
- A Booking Summary with the service, staff member, date and time, then Confirm Appointment.
If two people try to book the same time, the second is told straight away and shown the refreshed list of free times.
Good to know Your booking page stays on cue.oroe.ai even when your website uses your own domain. Your website links to it, so customers move between them seamlessly.
Keep track of appointments
The Appointments tab lists every booking. Switch between card, table and calendar views, and select a day in the calendar to see just that day’s appointments.
To add a booking yourself, for example one taken over the phone, select New Appointment, fill in the Customer Name, Email, Date, Time, Location, Staff Member and Service, and select Create Appointment.
Each appointment has a status:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| pending | Booked online and waiting to be confirmed. New online bookings start here. |
| confirmed | The appointment is going ahead. |
| completed | The appointment has happened. |
| cancelled | The appointment was cancelled. |
| no-show | The customer didn’t turn up. |
Quick View gives you today’s total bookings, counts of staff, services and locations, and your most recent appointments. Analytics shows your total appointments and how many are pending, confirmed and cancelled.
Settings
Under Settings you’ll find:
- General: your Timezone, Currency, Date Format, Time Format and First Day of Week.
- Operating Hours: the days and times your business is open.
- Testimonials: quotes from your customers. They appear in the testimonials section of your website. Leave this empty and the section simply doesn’t appear.
- Nest CRM: send your customers to Nest (below).
Select Save Settings after making changes.
Send customers to Nest
When the Nest integration is on, every new appointment creates a contact in Nest, or matches an existing one, so your customer list builds itself.
- Go to Settings > Nest CRM.
- Turn on Enable Nest CRM Integration.
- Choose a Contact Type for new contacts.
- Choose a Lead Source. The default, Cue Appointment, makes it easy to see in Nest which customers came from online booking.
- Under Field Mapping, match appointment details such as Customer Name, Customer Email and Customer Phone to Nest fields.
- Select Save Integration Settings.

Let Tron book for you
Tron agents can work with your Cue calendar. A Tron agent, such as a telecaller, email agent or chat agent, can find a customer’s upcoming appointments, check which times are free, and book, reschedule or cancel appointments when a customer asks. They use the same availability as your booking page, so there’s no double-booking. See the Tron docs.
