Templates and design styles

Browse Cue's 48 ready-made website templates across eight design styles, preview them live, and start your site from the one you like.

Two kinds of template

Open Cue Pages and select Templates in the sidebar. You’ll see two sections:

  • Website Templates are complete, ready-made websites. Every page is designed and connected, with a shared header, footer, menu and theme.
  • Page templates are single-page layouts you can add to a website you already have.

Website templates

Cue has 48 website templates, each built for a particular kind of business, from salons, dental practices and cafés to law firms, climbing gyms, boutique hotels and product launches. Modern (any business), marked Any business, suits anyone whose trade isn’t covered.

Each card shows the template’s colour palette, its font pairing and the pages it comes with (usually four, such as Home, Services, About and Contact).

Preview a template

  1. Select a template card. A full-screen preview opens on a live demo website built from that template.
  2. Switch between the template’s pages, and between desktop, tablet and mobile widths.
  3. Select Open in new tab to explore the demo on its own.

Tip You can also browse demos directly. Try https://cue.oroe.ai/s/demo-salon, https://cue.oroe.ai/s/demo-bakery, https://cue.oroe.ai/s/demo-law or https://cue.oroe.ai/s/demo-launch.

Use a template

  1. In the preview, select Use this template.
  2. The website builder opens with that template already chosen under Style.
  3. Continue as described in Build your website. Cue fills the template with your business details and saves every page as a draft for you to review.

The eight design styles

Every website template belongs to one of eight design styles. Each style is a consistent point of view on typography, colour, layout and movement. In the website builder, you can pick a style under Design expert instead of choosing a single template, and Cue will choose the best-fitting template in that style for your business.

Design style What it feels like Templates
Editorial Print and line design: rules, ledgers, serif headings and ruled mastheads. A page that reads like a well-set document. 22
Web-native Layered light: soft glows, organic shapes, overlapping bands and glass over a photograph or a deep background. 7
Bold colour-block Flat, saturated colour fields, thick strokes, hard shadows, tilted stickers and scrolling tickers. Loud and physical. 5
Cinematic morph Scenes rather than sections: near-monochrome, one accent colour, light type, and elements that flow into the next scene as you scroll. 3
Spatial storytelling Content-led, dimensional compositions for adaptive software, spatial sound, circular materials, architecture and creative direction. 5
Modern business Photographic heroes, icon-led capability grids, proof tiles, work cards and portrait teams in deep navy and warm paper. 3
Launch cinema One long, cinematic home page told in numbered chapters, with a full-bleed title card and oversized display type. 2
Creative portfolio Gallery white, wall to wall, with images that overlap and bleed at mixed sizes and captions set off to one side. 1

Good to know In the Design expert menu, styles are listed with a number, for example Expert 1 · Editorial. Leave it on Let Pulse choose and Cue picks a style that suits your business.

Page templates

Page templates are single-page layouts, such as a landing page or an offer page. Cue includes a set of starter layouts, marked Starter, and any templates you import appear here too.

  • Select Preview to see the layout full size.
  • Select Use Template to create a new page from it. The page opens in Studio, ready to edit.
  • Select the export button on one of your own templates to download it as a JSON file.
  • Select Import at the top of the page to add a template from a JSON file, for example one a colleague exported from another workspace.
